Fast, reliable shipping from our Austin facility to anywhere in the continental United States with professional handling of all refrigerant products.
1. Shipping Coverage and Availability
We provide shipping services to all 48 continental United States from our professional warehouse facility located in Austin, Texas. Our strategic location allows for efficient distribution and optimal delivery times to most major metropolitan areas across the country.
Currently, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other US territories due to specialized shipping requirements for refrigerant products. International shipping is not available at this time. All orders must have a valid street address as we cannot deliver to PO Box locations due to carrier restrictions on hazardous materials.
2. Processing Times
Orders placed before 2:00 PM Central Time Monday through Friday will be processed and shipped the same business day, subject to product availability and payment verification. Orders placed after 2:00 PM or on weekends and holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Custom orders, special requests, or products requiring additional handling may require 1-2 additional business days for processing. We will notify you of any delays and provide updated shipping estimates. During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be extended, and customers will be notified of any delays.
3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
We offer multiple shipping options to meet your delivery requirements and budget. All delivery times are business days and begin counting from the date of shipment, not the order date.
Standard Ground Shipping (4-7 business days): Our most economical option suitable for non-urgent orders. Delivery times vary by distance from our Austin facility, with central and southern states typically receiving faster delivery.
Express Shipping (2-3 business days): Expedited service for time-sensitive orders. Available to most major metropolitan areas with guaranteed delivery times.
Next-Day Delivery (1 business day): Available in select areas for urgent orders placed before 12:00 PM Central Time. Additional fees apply and availability is subject to destination and product restrictions.
Freight Shipping: Available for large orders or bulk quantities. Delivery times typically range from 3-10 business days depending on destination and carrier availability.
4. Shipping Costs and Calculation
Shipping costs are calculated based on several factors including package weight, dimensions, destination zip code, and selected shipping method. Costs are displayed during checkout before order completion. We use dimensional weight pricing for lightweight, bulky items.
Free standard shipping is available on qualified orders over $500 to most destinations within the continental United States. Expedited shipping options, remote locations, and orders requiring special handling may not qualify for free shipping promotions.
Additional fees may apply for deliveries to remote locations, delivery attempts to business addresses outside normal business hours, or orders requiring special handling. These fees will be clearly disclosed during the checkout process.
5. Hazmat and Regulated Shipping
Many of our refrigerant products are classified as hazardous materials and must be shipped in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. These products require specialized packaging, labeling, and carrier handling.
Hazmat shipping incurs additional fees to cover compliance requirements and specialized handling. These fees are clearly marked during checkout. Hazmat products cannot be shipped via expedited air services and are limited to ground transportation only.
Our team is certified in hazmat shipping procedures and ensures all packages meet federal compliance standards. Proper documentation and safety data sheets are included with all regulated shipments.
6. Packaging and Product Protection
All products are carefully packaged using industry-standard materials designed to protect refrigerant containers during transit. We use specialized cushioning, reinforced boxes, and appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage.
Refrigerant containers are secured to prevent movement and protected against temperature extremes and physical damage. Original manufacturer packaging is preserved whenever possible to maintain product integrity and warranty coverage.
Large or heavy items may be shipped on pallets with shrink wrapping and additional protective materials. Fragile items receive extra cushioning and "Fragile" marking to ensure careful handling by carriers.
7. Order Tracking and Communication
Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information. You can monitor your shipment's progress through our website or directly with the shipping carrier using the provided tracking number.
We provide proactive communication about any shipping delays, weather-related issues, or other circumstances that may affect delivery. Our customer service team is available to assist with tracking questions or delivery concerns.
For large orders or critical shipments, we offer enhanced tracking services and can provide delivery appointment scheduling where available from our shipping partners.
8. Delivery and Receiving
Most shipments require a signature upon delivery to ensure secure receipt. Deliveries are typically made during standard business hours (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM) Monday through Friday. Saturday delivery may be available for an additional fee in select areas.
Please ensure someone is available to receive the shipment at the delivery address. If delivery cannot be completed, the carrier will leave a notice with instructions for rescheduling or pickup. Additional delivery attempt fees may apply.
Large freight shipments may require special delivery arrangements, including lift gate service or inside delivery for an additional fee. These requirements should be specified during the ordering process.
9. Inspection and Damage Claims
It is important to inspect all packages immediately upon delivery. Note any visible damage to the packaging on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing. If damage is discovered, contact us immediately at +1 (737) 283-2824.
For concealed damage discovered after delivery, notify us within 24 hours. We will assist with filing damage claims with the shipping carrier and arrange for replacement products when necessary.
Do not discard damaged packaging until the claim is resolved, as carriers may need to inspect the original packaging. We work closely with our shipping partners to resolve damage claims quickly and efficiently.
10. Weather and Service Delays
While we strive to meet all delivery commitments, shipping times may be affected by weather conditions, carrier service disruptions, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate any known delays promptly.
During severe weather events, carriers may suspend service to affected areas for safety reasons. We monitor carrier service alerts and will notify customers of any anticipated delays.
In cases of extended delays, we will work with customers to find alternative shipping solutions or provide updated delivery estimates as information becomes available.
11. Address Changes and Delivery Instructions
Shipping address changes must be requested before the order is processed for shipment. Once a package is in transit, address changes may not be possible or may incur additional fees from the shipping carrier.
Special delivery instructions such as "leave at door" or "deliver to loading dock" can be added during checkout. However, we recommend signature delivery for valuable shipments to prevent theft or loss.
For business deliveries, please provide complete address information including suite numbers, contact names, and any special access requirements to ensure successful delivery.
12. Returns and Exchanges
Return shipping for products covered under our warranty policy will be arranged and paid for by Barvati. For returns due to customer error or preference changes, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
A return authorization number is required before shipping any products back to our facility. Products must be packaged securely and shipped via a trackable method. We recommend using the original packaging when possible.
Return shipments should be sent to our Austin facility with the return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package. Processing of returns begins once products are received and inspected at our facility.
